Woodcock (Scolopax rusticola)

Woodcock hunting is organized during the period 01.10. - 28.02. in the hunting district in Mostar area, only two hours away from Sarajevo International Airport, Dubrovnik and Split, and at 2 hours away from the port of Split, and near the famous Catholic Shrine of Medjugorje.
Hunting district includes terrain at an altitude of 400 -1250 meters and is characterized by forest courts, and Mediterranean low vegetation debris. Given the configuration of the terrain, hunting woodcock requires the presence of a professional guide, proper shooting skills of trained pointing dogs
